This year, all proceeds will benefit FMFM's largest endeavor to-date: the buildout of a college in Sierra Leone. We are working with Project 1808 and Strides for Africa to bring the first college to a remote area of Sierra Leone which will provide higher education with a focus on solving community challenges in innovative ways.
With our $8,000 goal, we will make a critical contribution to the completion of the university's buildout.

ABOUT THE CAUSE
Options are limited for high-performing young people after high school in Kabala, Sierra Leone. The nearest university is hours away - making living at home while attending school impossible. Most families make less than $90/month, and college tuition costs run upwards of $500/semester. In order to pay for room, board and school fees, some young people turn to prostitution just to obtain an education. Others opt to take a low-skill job in Kabala instead of continuing their education.
